I'm going to delete this journal, so please remove me from your lists if you don't want to be friends with a striked-out username.

I'm not using it any more, I barely log in. I found another place to vent my feelings and if you know where that place is, it means that I truly trust and value you.

It's been nice using this journal, but everything good dies sometime.

Signing off for the last time,
El.

A quick update to let you all know I'm still alive.

I've been doing well, school is slightly stressful though. Many assessments have been had, but all in all I'm doing alright. I've had heaps of leadership duties but it's a fun thing to do and I'm glad they chose me for the job.

If you're going to either Taking Back Sunday or Alkaline Trio in Sydney, you'll see me there. Message me over MSN or Myspace or something and I'll let you know where you can find me, I'd love to catch up with some of you.

Probably starting a private LJ very soon.

- Elly

Dear friends,

In light of recent events, I have made the decision to permanently stop using my LiveJournal. These events, even though meant as a joke, opened my eyes to the fact that the internet is not a private place, and that I shouldn't really be exposing details of my private life in such a public arena. This is not the first time the internet, LJ in particular, has caused trouble for me, and I think my best bet is to avoid this altogether. I'm sorry to the people who were hurt by the events which took place last night, and I hope everything is fixed really soon.

Many of you IMed or emailed me about the deletion of my journal, but I decided to undelete it and just not update any more because I'd still like to be a part of various communities and things. I may still read your LJs if you keep me on your friends lists, and make the occasional comment, but there will be no further updates from me. If you don't want this, then please feel free to remove this journal from your list. I've already deleted you all from my list, it's up to you what you do with my account.

It's been a real pleasure knowing you all and, after almost three years of using LJ, it's pretty sad to go. However, I'm pretty sure this is the best decision I've ever made..after all, LJ was my main means of procrastination and, particularly in my final year, I don't need it. I don't know if I'll ever return to using a LiveJournal, but if I do, you'll all know about it. For now, though, this is the end of an era and the beginning of a brand new start.

I'd love to stay in contact. Feel free to add me on any of the following:

MSN: sick-lullabies@hotmail.com
AIM: poetic disasters
MySpace: burnthephotographs
LAST.FM: xplosions

- Elly
